Magpul PMAG Impact Dust Cover – GEN M2 MOE - 3 Pack

The PMAG Impact Dust Cover – for the 5.56x45 PMAG® 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE® magazines (MAG570 and MAG571), designed to minimize debris intrusion and protect against potential cartridge damage during storage and transit. This cover will not work on  PMAG GEN M3. They are designed for Gen M2 PMAGS. There are multiple reasons to use PMAG Impact Dust Covers:

• Keep dust and debris out of your magazine during long term storage
• Keep dust and debris out of your magazine during transport
• Apply pressure to the top round of a loaded magazine which keeps the pressure off of the feed lips of the magazine.  Warped feed lips are not a concern with PMAGs though.
• PMAGS are tough...real tough, but if dropped from extreme heights and dropped directly on the feed lips...you'd want an IMPACT dust cover covering the feed lips.
• PMAG Impact Dust Covers can be used as color codes for different variations of hand loads or different brands of ammunition (this can be achieved by using different colored magazines as well)
