The MOE SL-S features an enhanced cheek weld for improved user comfort and target acquisition. Its innovative design incorporates two O-ring sealed, waterproof battery storage tubes, capable of holding two CR123A lithium or AA batteries each. These tubes offer exceptional water resistance, tested to a depth of 10 meters, ensuring your essential power sources remain dry and protected. Accessing the tubes is easy via removable, o-ringed rubber plugs located at the rear of the stock, regardless of the stock's position.

Built for durability and performance, the SL-S features a chrome-silicon lock spring ensuring positive locking and extended service life. The dual-side release latches facilitate quick and easy adjustments while remaining snag-free. An internal anti-rattle leaf spring minimizes wobble on the receiver extension tube for a secure and stable fit, offering slightly less friction than the original SL. The angled rubber butt-pad provides a non-slip surface and enhances impact protection, particularly beneficial when wearing body armor. The rolled toe design further improves comfort and allows for smooth shoulder transitions.

The Magpul MOE SL-S is compatible with Mil-Spec carbine receiver extension tubes from manufacturers like Colt, LMT, Ruger, S&W, and SIG, among others. It offers versatile sling mounting options, including an ambidextrous push-button QD swivel sling mount for up to 1.5" swivels, compatibility with Magpul ASAP® and ASAP® QD, and 1.25" sling loops. NOTE: There are two basic sizes of M4 Carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes): mil-spec and commercial-spec. The MOE SL-S will only fit with the common mil-spec tube.
