The MBUS 3, the latest iteration in our Magpul Back-Up Sight (MBUS) series, combines the finest attributes, robustness, and value from both our original MBUS and MBUS Pro Sights. This comprehensive back-up sight system boasts a host of features.

Compared to its predecessor, the MBUS 3 is significantly smaller—standing at a mere 0.47 inches when folded and measuring 1.38 inches at its widest point. Remarkably lightweight, it tips the scales at just 25 grams, including hardware. While its aesthetics draw inspiration from the MBUS Pro, the MBUS 3 Front Sight is crafted from our impact-resistant polymer, ensuring both lightness and exceptional durability. Like its forerunner, it employs spring-loaded technology and can be swiftly deployed using an ambidextrous push-button.

When deployed, the MBUS 3 Front Sight aligns with the standard AR height and features tool-less elevation adjustment via a dual-width enhanced front post, akin to the MBUS Pro.

*NOTE: Cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat issues. Front MBUS must be mounted to a railed forend on the same plane as the receiver rail. Because of this the sight is also not compatible with MOE Hand Guards.
