The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is a direct replacement for the original wood or plastic AK47, AKM & AK74 hand guards. The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard uses a stainless steel heat guard underneath a rugged, strong and lightweight M-LOK polymer hand guard. The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is very easy to install and uses the existing front hand guard retaining cap with or without a sling loop. The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard features M-LOK slots at the three, six, and nine o'clock positions for mounting direct-attach M-LOK accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections. Also, included in the box is a replacement polymer top cover. The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is compatible with the UltiMAK Optics Mount top cover and accepts factory cleaning rod The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is a replacement for standard AKM pattern rifles with a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. Featuring an extended gripping portion, integrated heat shield, M-LOK mounting capability, and replacement gas tube cover, the MOE AKM Hand Guard is an upgrade to any AK pattern rifle.
